Combining fiction and nonfiction, this intriguing film from director Jon Marc Sandifer begin with a dare, and ends with a heady dose of reality. Marilyne is of African-American origin, but has only ever dated white men. Until, that is, her friend Vanena offers a challenge she can't refuse: To get with an African-American man within the space of seven days. Director Sandifer subsequently seeks out four men for Marilyne and films the encounters secretly. The results are candid, eye-opening, and moving.
