Originally published as a series of comic books, this is a collection of traditional English, Scots, and Irish ballads, as interpreted such premiere fantasy writers as Neil Gaiman, Jane Yolen, and Charles de Lint, and illustrated by the beautiful pre-Raphaelite-inspired black-and-white art of Charles Vess.
